To create the highest quality print, you will need to ensure your uploaded artwork is the following:

1. 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) Resolution

300 DPI is the best resolution for our high quality print. Artwork must be created at 300dpi and NOT upscaled after production. Dots Per Inch is the measure of spatial printing density – the higher the DPI, the sharper the printed image. Most web images are 72 DPI – which is fine for viewing, but NOT for print, and may look fuzzy if uploaded!

2. Print Ready File Type – .PDF, .TIFF, .JPG, .JPEG, .EPS OR Photoshop Files (.PSD / .AI)

We accept the following file types for artwork upload. If you don't have these file types, you will need to convert or ask your designer.

Keep text in vector format if possible (please make black text 100% black and not a mix of CMYK) and make sure you 'pre-flight PDFs' using the 'Adobe PDF/X-1D' preset in Adobe Illustrator / InDesign and Photoshop.

3. Convert fonts to outlines / flattened

As a precautionary measure, we ask you to convert all fonts to outlines and/or flattened, just incase our font libraries don't match yours.

4. Correct Orientation

Make sure you upload your file to right orientation product!

5. Add 3mm 'Bleed' & safe margin around all sides of artwork (also make crop marks visible)

To ensure none of your printed design gets cut off, add an additional 3mm space 'Bleed' around your artwork. To be extra sure, give yourself another 3mm safe margin inside your design to make sure any text or sensitive information is not on the edge / cut off. For uploaded artwork, also ensure crop marks are visible (see 'Download Templates' for each product).

For example: A business card full bleed size would be 91 x 61mm (85 x 55mm – document trim size).

6. 'CMYK' File Format Preferred

'CMYK' (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) is the print industry standard formula to give accurate colour reproductions. Please submit 'CMYK' format artwork to ensure the highest quality print – Pantone, Spot or RGB will be converted into CMYK format when using digital print, which may cause some colour changes.
